Rev. Aaron FRAKES, born 1789-93, Nelson County, Kentucky, son of Philip and Phoebe (CASE) FRAKES. Aaron died 23 Feb 1821, Vigo County, Indiana. It was said that he was buried in a hollowed out tree trunk as there was not a coffin big enough for him.

On 13 Oct 1814, Aaron Frakes purchased land in Sullivan County, Indiana. It was NW1/2 Sec 36, T10N R2W of 1st PM.
In Mar 1817, Aaron succeeded Rev. Isaac McCOY as Minister of the First Baptist Church of Prairie Creek in Vigo County, Indiana. The church had been founded in 1816 by Rev. McCOY and Daniel BOONE. The original church building was a log building 30 feet square. Aaron was also minister of the Honey Creek Baptist Church and Maria Creek Baptist Church in Knox County, Indiana. His ministry included three counties, Vigo, Sullivan and Knox. Aaron was minister of the Prairie Creek Baptist Church from March 1817 to March 1821.
In 1820, the census shows Aaron Frakes, age 26-45 living in Sullivan County, Indiana. With him was his wife (Mary), female age 16-26; and one daughter (Phebe), and 2 sons (Johnathan and Philip) under the age of 10. Aaron was listed next to his father, Philip FRAKES, in the census. His brother, Philip FRAKES, Jr. was listed on the same page, as was Daniel FRAKES, Aaron's uncle.

On 11 Jul 1860, the census shows William (43) and Phile (42) WATSON living in Shelby County, Illinois. Moweaqua Post Office. He was said to have been born in Indiana and she in Illinois. William was a farmer. Their personal property was valued at $500. With them were: Mary J. WATSON age 16, born IL; Delilah WATSON age 15, born IL; Diri WATSON age 9, born IL and Thomas WATSON age 6, born IN.
On 1 Aug 1870, the census shows Willis (54) and Susan (42) WATSON living in Montgomery County, Illinois. Audubon Post Office. He was said to have been born in Indiana and she in Tennessee. He was a farmer. Their real estate was valued at $300 and their personal property at $305. With them were: Thomas WATSON age 16, born IN; Mary WATSON age 15, born IN; Frances WATSON age 12, born IN; and Elizabeth WATSON age 3, born IL.
